The evening performances began with the Wanda Holdren Dance Academy, as they took centre stage for some amazing performances sharing the music and dance moves with the audience.  Three students from Reading High School shared a few songs from their recent musical, In The Heights. Thank you to Elena Crespo, Eric Acosta, and Angel Alvarado.

A beneficiary from our scholarship program, Stephanie Ruiz spoke to the audience about the skills, strength and sense of community that she gained in part with assistance of the scholarship, and how she overcame significant challenges to succeed.
Special thanks go to Reading Poet Laureate Anthony Orrosco who provided a spoken word piece written especially for our gala.

Appreciation also to Rich Harwood, Founder & CEO of the Harwood Institute for Public Innovation, for his inspiring video remarks.
