Centro Hispano Unveils New Brand Identity as It Celebrates 60 Years of Community Impact

Refreshed logo reflects the organization's growth, values, and vision for the future while honoring six decades of service

Reading, PA — For 60 years, Centro Hispano has served as a trusted resource, advocate, and gathering place for Latino families and the broader Greater Reading community. Today, as the organization celebrates this important milestone, it is proud to unveil a refreshed brand identity that reflects both its rich history and its vision for the future.

The new logo and visual identity represent more than a design update. They symbolize Centro Hispano's continued commitment to creating opportunities, strengthening families, and fostering a sense of belonging for all who walk through its doors.

Over the past six decades, Centro Hispano has evolved from a community resource into a multifaceted organization supporting education, workforce development, youth programs, health and wellness initiatives, family services, advocacy, and community engagement. As the organization has grown, leaders recognized the need for a visual identity that more accurately reflects the breadth of its impact and the vibrant community it serves.

"This new brand reflects who we are today and where we are headed tomorrow," said Michael Toledo, President and CEO of Centro Hispano. "While our logo may be changing, our mission remains the same. We are committed to empowering individuals, strengthening families, and building a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive."

The refreshed identity was developed through a thoughtful process that considered Centro Hispano's history, values, and long-term strategic vision. It is grounded in the organization's Theory of Change, which emphasizes that lasting community impact begins with trust, meaningful relationships, and the creation of spaces where people feel welcomed, supported, and connected.

The new visual identity incorporates elements that celebrate cultural pride, resilience, connection, and community. It also creates a more unified and recognizable presence across programs, communications, and partnerships throughout Berks County.

"For many people, Centro Hispano represents opportunity, support, and a sense of home," said Toledo. "We wanted a brand that reflects the energy and strength of our community while helping us tell our story more clearly and consistently."

The rebrand arrives during a year of celebration and reflection for Centro Hispano. Throughout its 60-year history, the organization has worked alongside generations of families, community leaders, volunteers, donors, and partners who have contributed to its mission and growth.

Leaders emphasize that while the organization's look is evolving, its purpose remains unchanged. Centro Hispano will continue providing culturally responsive programs and services designed to help individuals and families achieve greater stability, opportunity, and success.

The new logo and brand identity will begin appearing across Centro Hispano facilities, digital platforms, communications materials, and community outreach efforts throughout the coming months.
